Scattering on Quasi-Spherical Black-Holes: Features and Beyond

چکیده

Recent developments in the gravitational waves interferometry require more pertinent theoretical models of generation and propagation. Untouched possible mechanisms spin-2 spacetime perturbations production, we will consider their subsequent scattering on other black holes (BHs). Specifically, a generalization Regge-Wheeler-Zerilli equations for case distorted BHs (BHs surrounded with matter) Minkowski Anti-de Sitter spacetimes, metric potential which obeys Liouville equation. We establish significant differences characteristics different spins angular momenta, including waves, caused by losing spherical symmetry propagation background. In particular, demonstrate strong impact background geometry deformation grey-body factors, hence absorption cross-sections explore issue stability upon changing degree parameters.

Planckian Scattering from Kerr Black Holes: Eikonal and Beyond

Planckian scattering of particles with angular momenta is studied by describing them as sources of Kerr metric. In the shock wave formalism, it is found that the angular momenta do not contribute to the scattering amplitude in the eikonal limit. This is confirmed by using the wave equation of the test particle in the Kerr background. Typeset using REVTEX E-Mail: saurya,[email protected] 1

Quasi - Extremal Black Holes

We consider Quasi-Extremal Kerr and Quasi-Extremal Schwarzschild-de Sitter Black Holes. From the known analytical expressions obtained for their Quasi-Normal Modes frequencies, we suggest an area quan-tization prescription for those objects.

Scattering by Black Holes

Black holes, objects so compact that not even light can escape their gravitational pull, are among the most intriguing concepts of modern science. As Kip Thorne wrote in 1974: “Of all the conceptions of the human mind from unicorns to gargoyles to the hydrogen bomb perhaps the most fantastic is the black hole: a hole in space with a definite edge over which anything can fall and nothing can esc...

Planckian Scattering and Black Holes

Recently, ’t Hooft’s S-matrix for black hole evaporation, obtained from the gravitational interactions between the in-falling particles and Hawking radiation, has been generalised to include transverse effects. The action describing the collision turned out to be a string theory action with an antisymmetric tensor background. In this article we show that the model reproduces both the correct lo...

Chaotic scattering around black holes

It is shown that the scattering of a charged test particle by a system of four extreme Reissner-Nordtröm black holes is chaotic in some cases. The fractal structure of the scattering angle and time delay functions is another manifestation of the existence of a nonattracting chaotic set: fractal basin boundaries were previously known. 04.25.-g,04.40.Nr,04.70.Bw,95.10.Fh Typeset using REVTEX 1
